Principal

Dear Students and Parents,

I would like to introduce myself.  I am Mrs. LaFond, the Assistant Principal for our school.  I have been in education for 17 years and a teacher in Maury County for 5 years.  Prior to Maury County, I was an administrator in Mississippi for 6 years.

The middle school years are an exciting and interesting time.  Students will face many new challenges and experiences as they grow and mature throughout their four years here.  This is not a time that can be successful without a true team approach. That is why we believe it important to work collaboratively with parents so that each individual student receives the support and guidance they need to be successful. We do not envision a student’s success as the sole responsibility of the school but a collaborative effort that can only be successful with the support of the family. 

Our ultimate goal is to provide each child with the experiences and education they need to be successful as they move on to high school.  We are truly a school community that is dependent on each other to achieve the goals we have for each student.  Please contact us with any question, comments, or concerns you may have.
