Welcome to Spring Hill Middle School, home of The Generals.   Thank you for choosing to attend SHMS, and we are very excited about the 2011-2012 school year.  We have high expectations for our students and school community, and we know our school will be successful with your support and cooperation.

       Our website is designed to provide students and parents with a brief overview of our school programs and athletic events. Positive attitudes and open communication lines are imperative among students, parents, faculty, and stakeholders for optimum success at SHMS. 

      We also encourage you to read the SHMS Student Handbook and Maury County Schools Code of Student Rights, Responsibilities, Rules, and Due Process Procedures.  These publications, which explain board policies concerning attendance, academics, grading, discipline, dress code, and many other important student and school issues, are provided to each student.  When we all understand the expectations of students, faculty, and staff at Spring Hill Middle School, we help ensure student success.

      We encourage students and parents to immediately contact the teacher/counselor/administrator if concerns arise throughout the school year.  Also, please attend parent-teacher conferences, which are provided during the school year.  If you would like to volunteer at SHMS, please call the school office.  We would be happy to have you become a part of our team!
